REUNION 2006

Physics Department Reunion Talk: "Were Mass and Charge Meant To Be?"

Friday, June 2, 2006, McDonnell Hall, Room A02, 3PM
Reception to follow in the Brush Gallery.
Sponsored by the Physics Department.

The Princeton Physics Department presents Professor Christopher Tully, Assistant Professor, in our annual Reunions talk. This talk will be a stimulating reminder of how the concepts of mass and charge dominate our understanding of classical physics. Current research in particle physics sheds new light on these fundamental concepts. The next generation of elementary particle experiments at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN (Geneva, Switzerland) will challenge our basic intuition of what makes the laws of physics tick.
