I have not uploaded the article, "Geodesics, Domes and Spacetime," but on this page you will find photographs of the Zeiss Optical Company's first geodesic dome, designed by the chief engineeer at Zeiss, Walter Bauersfeld (1879-1959), and built in the years after World War I to house their planetarium. This was the world's first geodesic dome, constructed by the firm of Dyckerhoff and Widmann. Also on this page is a photo of Bauersfeld and the patentschrift made out to the Zeiss company.
